Recycling one tonne of cardboard saves 390kWh of energy.
Yes please – All clean cardboard, big and small.
No thank you – Cardboard with food waste, Tetrapak food and drink cartons, Polystyrene and other packaging from within boxes – please put in general waste.
Waste cardboard should be flat packed and kept in an agreed point in the office. Often you can use a large cardboard box to place all other cardboard inside. If you use a large Euro bin (also called a 1100 ltr bin) in your car park, you can equally place it directly there for collection.
We collect it direct from the kerbside or from within your office when it has a Ace Recycling sticker on it, or you can place it straight into a Ace Recycling wheelie bin or Euro bin which is marked for Dry Mixed Recycling.
We collect waste cardboard and bale it for it to be taken from us to a cardboard processor and later sold to paper mills and industry for future re-use.
